So, an audit was recently conducted on Homeland Security’s websites. As it turns out, their security sucks. I’m not just talking about their public websites, either. They use internal “sites” that let agents share sensitive information.
While they’re not releasing details of all of the vulnerabilities, it doesn’t really matter. Hackers have already been stealing information for months.
Of course, they’ll have it fixed immediately, right? Nope. It’s going to take until November 30th (at least) to update everything. Thank goodness technology is stagnant and no upgrades will be necessary after this! Oh wait…
