Hey everyone – it’s here! The cover design for Lost to the Shadows has been finalized!

I really appreciate all of the great feedback I received from those of you who subscribed to my newsletter and got a sneak peek at the initial version.

Jeroen ten Berge is the artist behind the cover. He did an amazing job and I honestly can’t recommend him enough. He’s great to work with and created something so much cooler than I could have even imagined.

Unlike most of the other cover designers I spoke with, Jeroen actually wanted to know what the story is about. He had me send him the manuscript, an outline, and a list of the most important chapters so that he could read and find his inspiration for the cover from the text itself. To know that he really cares not just about his artwork, but about the story, too, is a wonderful feeling.

If you ever need a cover done, I highly suggest you talk Jeroen. You can visit his website www.jeroentenberge.com to get in touch with him and view his gallery. He does logos and company branding, too, so if you’re ever in the market for that, he’d be the first person I would talk to.

Let me know what you think about the cover down in the comments! Or, if you have any questions about my experience with Jeroen, feel free to ask away.
