I wanted to write up a quick blog post to let everyone know how giveaway #2 went. Dan Oprisan was our lucky winner!
The support for this giveaway has been absolutely tremendous; almost 750 people entered to win! Between the two giveaways so far, over 900 unique people have signed up. That’s incredible!
I do have some more giveaways planned for the near future. Right now, the next one I’m looking at doing will feature some eBooks for Kindle.
OK, enough about that for now. Even if you weren’t the lucky winner of these books, you should still absolutely consider checking them out.
The first book I want to highlight is Ten Guilty Men by Sean and Dan Campbell. It follows DCI Morton as he investigates the death of a celebrity photographer that was reported as an anonymous tip. As the investigation continues and a key witness steps forward, things get even stranger – namely when the witness reveals she saw a man fleeing from the crime scene without any clothes on.
Right now, the eBook version of this book is on sale for just 99 Cents until May 16th! In addition to that, the first two books in the DCI Morton series are FREE until May 11th. Sean and Dan also just released their newest book, The Patient Killer, last week, so be sure to check it out, too. You can visit their website HERE for more information on their big sales.
Carter Wilson’s The Comfort of Black is a dark thriller that begins with a couple’s deteriorating relationship and quickly escalates as Hannah Parks begins to investigate her husband’s dark past. Things only get worse for Hannah when her husband tries to have her abducted and she has to go on the run with the help of an ex-con who is an expert at helping people disappear.
If you like mysteries and dark thrillers, be sure to check this one out!
Michael Mucci is a fascinating guy who has traveled the world and collected things from all over – including dinosaur bones. His debut novel, A Season to Kill, takes place in a sleepy Pennsylvanian town that seems perfectly safe on the surface, but has a dark secret. For eleven years, a serial killer has run loose, choosing a new victim each December. As Chris DeAngelo, the new sheriff in town, begins to investigate, the violence escalates and threatens not only to leave more dead, but to destroy the town itself.
David Baldacci’s Will Robie series is a must read for anyone who enjoys assassin novels. The newest addition to the series, The Guilty, follows Will after he botches a job and learns that his father has been arrested for murder. Will returns home, but his father not only refuses his help, he also refuses to defend himself. Unwilling to let his father go to prison without a fight, Will investigates the murder himself. His investigation, however, is quickly met with violence as someone tries to thwart him at every turn.
Lee Child’s Jack Reacher series is arguably one of the most well known thriller series to date. His newest book, Make Me, begins in a small town called Mother’s Rest. When Reacher meets a woman who mistakes him for her partner in a private investigation, he’s intrigued and decides to help her. Things quickly go south, though, and Reacher finds himself pursued by killers who will stop at nothing to put an end to the investigation. Even so, he sticks to his personal code: If you want to stop me, you’re going to have to make me.
Gregg Hurwitz’s newest book, Orphan X, will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. Evan Smoak was raised as an assassin through a top secret program. Once he broke out, he became something else: The Nowhere Man who helps people truly in need. Unfortunately for Evan, someone is after him – someone with skills similar to his own and an intimate knowledge of him. If you’re into assassins, thrillers, or even just good books, this one is definitely for you.
Aaron Mahnke is best known for his hit podcast Lore. In addition to his podcast, though, he also writes supernatural thrillers. His latest novel, Grave Suspicion, is about a wandering nomad named Sam with a secret that allows him to help people. Unfortunately for Sam, someone has decided that his secret is worth killing for.
I have been a fan of Jeff Abbott’s Sam Capra series for years now. His latest book, The First Order, focuses on a part of Sam’s painful past – his brother Danny’s execution. To Sam’s shock, however, he finds out that Danny might not be dead, after all. Instead, Danny has been hired to assassinate the Russian President and start an apocalyptic war. It’s up to Sam to try and save him – and the world – before time runs out.
Brad Thor is another of the most well known thriller authors. In his novel, Code of Conduct, Scot Harvath is sent to investigate one of the world’s most powerful secret organizations. As Scott quickly learns, the assignment is the most dangerous of his career. Not only are the members of the organization considered elites, they’re also untouchable. If you’re a fan of non-stop action and plenty of explosions, check out this book or any of the others in Brad Thor’s Scot Harvath series.
Lost to the Shadows, by yours truly, is about an assassin named Drake who has been raised to kill for as long as he can remember. When another group of assassins visit his city, Drake’s mentors send him to eliminate them. As he does, he’s quickly confronted with a choice: does he save countless innocents, or risk putting the only family he’s ever known in danger.
Also, as a quick note, I’d love to send the first 20 people who email me ([email protected]) a FREE eBook copy of Lost to the Shadows for Kindle. So far 11 people have already contacted me, so please get in touch soon!
Last, but certainly not least, I also wanted to mention my friend Kory Shrum’s newest book Worth Dying For. It’s the 5th book in her Dying for a Living series. I just finished it a few days ago and can honestly say it’s fantastic! I high encourage you to check it out! If you’re interested, you can also get the first book in her series, Dying for a Living, for FREE on Amazon!
